The conservatory acts designate a category of legal acts whose purpose is, by necessity and / or because of the urgency or to save a right either to prevent the loss of property.

List of examples

As examples, payment of condominium fees, the acts interrupting a prescription or renewing a mortgage registration are conservatory acts.

differences

Legally, conservatory acts must be distinguished from acts of administration and acts of disposal. This distinction is particularly important with regard to guardianship and trusteeship.
