Family support allowance: amount in 2017

The amounts of family support allowance (ASF 2017) were slightly upgraded to 1 April 2017.

The ASF is for the parent raising one child (following a de facto separation for example) or persons who collected a child (that they live alone or in pairs).

The amounts of the ASF in 2017 are below those in force since 1 April 2017 (when they were slightly increased).

Single parent having sole effective charge of the child:

  • 109.65 euros per month per child.

In the absence of both parents (foster children):

  • 146.09 euros per child.

These amounts will remain the same until April 1, 2018. On that date, the amount of family support allowance will increase by 6 euros (ASF 2018).
