01-05 : Numbers reserved for fixed

Telephone numbers with a prefix between 01 and 05 are reserved for fixed line operators.
The allocation of these prefixes is geographical:
  • Numbers 01 = Regions Ile de France.
  • Numbers 02 = French Quarter northwest corresponding to the following regions: Pays de la Loire, Center, Lower Normandy, Upper Normandy and Britain.
  • Numbers 03 = Quarter northeast French corresponding to the following regions: Champagne-Ardenne, Nord Pas de Calais, Picardie, Lorraine, Burgundy, Alsace and Franche-Comté.
  • Numbers 04 = Quarter southeastern French corresponding to the following regions: Languedoc-Roussillon, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Auvergne, Rhone-Alpes and in Corsica.

06-07 : Numbers reserved for laptops
